2. Gone To The Birds

Beginner Level

• Keep a diary (of words or pictures) of the birds that visit your yard or park. Watch them for two weeks, keeping notes of which ones come and go.

Intermediate Level

• Identify the birds you see. You can use the internet, ask your mentoring Sister or an adult, or look them up in a field guide or encyclopedia. In your journal, make sure to keep track of what you learn.

Expert Level

• Find out what the birds that frequent your yard like to nibble on and supply them with a bird feeder and bath.
